Gunmen kidnap mother of Ibrahim Jimoh

Police Public Relations of the commandment of Ondo State, Mr. Adeniran Aremu, who confirmed the development to our correspondent on Monday, said the incident was reported to the police station in Igbotako 23:30 on Sunday evening.
He, however, said that the men of the command had begun an investigation into the matter to ensure that the woman was released unharmed.
Our correspondent gathered that the four gunmen came into the house, a one-storey building, situated on the outskirts of the city around 20:00 and pretended to be customers, who wanted to buy locally made carpets, which Women sold.
The janitor, who simply identified himself as Mr. Donat Ekuma, told reporters Monday that Igbotako old woman was upstairs when the kidnappers arrived.
