After a highly competitiveperformance, Kayode Odesanya aka Kida Kudz has emerged winner of the Peak Talent Show 2. His victory came up at the grand finale of the show which held on December 14, 2010 at the Agip Recital Hall, Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos.Organised by FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria PLC, makers of Nigeria ’s premium milk brand, Peak, the show had Kida Kudz smiling away with the N10 million
contestants with any amazing entertainment skill were given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to prove their mettle before a panel of seasoned entertainment veterans and thousands of cheering spectators for a ticket
to the final stages of the competition. In all, the voting viewers selected only 12 acts (via SMS) to the Peak Talent House.While in the Peak Talent House,the acts were exposed to training by professionals in their various fields. There were also elimination shows which left behind only three acts to compete for the star prize. They include Osagie, comedian, Super 2,dancers, and Kida Kudz, rapper.To win the star prize, the talents performed two acts each before a cheering audience and were allotted marks by the three celebrity judges: OJB Jazreel, Dayo ‘D1’ Adeneye, and Helen Paul. For a winner to emerge, the auditors collated the marks awarded by the judges and the votes secured by each contestant.And at the end of it all, Kida Kudz was declared overall winner. Mrs. Ore Famurewa, Corporate Affairs Manager of FrieslandCampina WAMCO, says: “ The Peak Talent Show provides millions of young talented Nigerians with the ultimate platform to showcase a variety of entertaining performances to viewers across the African continent and also, a chance to reach the peak of their dreams.”In all, N40 million worth of prizes were given out.
