The General Overseer of the Christian Church of God redeemed (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye Adejare, is the star guest on this edition of the weekend "African Voices, a magazine program sponsored by CNN International Globacom .

A statement from the Department of Marketing Communications of Globacom said the company was very pleased to bring Adeboye to millions of viewers worldwide.

Adeboye said that his vision is to bring a church to five minutes per person on earth. Before joining the RCCG, he was professor of mathematics, and worked at the University of Lagos and Ilorin. He holds a Ph.D. in applied mathematics from the University of Lagos, hitting a successful career in academia.After joining the Church redeemed, he started working to translate the sermons of his pastor and founder, the Rev. Josiah Olufemi Akindayomi, the Yoruba in English. In 1981, only 38 years, Adeboye became the General Overseer of the church. For three years he filled the part-time role, still being in Ilorin, to abandon his university position to preach full time.
In 2008, Newsweek magazine named Pastor Adeboye's 50 most powerful people in the world. He was born March 2, 1942 at Ifewara in present Osun State.
