PDP bombardment, abduction in Nigeria, Fashola

Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State yesterday blamed the PDP-led federal government for the poor condition of the country's security and electricity, saying: "Before taking office in 1999, there was no bombings in Nigeria and there was no kidnapping. "
 The governor also said that the ongoing crisis in Egypt would be a window of economic opportunity for Nigeria if the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP-led federal government can implement the right policy and have a good attitude towards it.


Governor Fashola made the announcement while in series of projects undertaken by the state government has held in Eti-Osa Local Government Area of the state.


The projects include commissioned two blocks of 12 classrooms for both elementary and secondary schools in GBAR Grammar School. A block of 13 classrooms was also commissioned in the community school Olomu. A system of mini-water works was commissioned in Badore, Ajah.

Fashola said: "They have made security worse and electricity in Nigeria. It's time to expel PDP at all levels of government in Nigeria. "


He said: "I lead this crusade. PDP has failed. PDP does not deserve to remain in government more than a minute."

The governor said: "We are tired of living on a diet of broken promises. When there is crisis in your neighborhood, who do you see? My phone number has remained in the public domain.


Tell the other parties to cease to remain anonymous. Let them tell you how you can achieve."


On the conflict Egyptian Fashola said: "The conflict in Egypt is at the root of this country at least one million tourists."

The governor added: "Riot, strikes and civil unrest will only slow the pace of development in all countries."


He said: "We must open our doors to embrace tourists. When tourists come, there will be more money in circulation, new firms are created and new opportunities will surface.


"This is a golden opportunity for us, because tourism is in this axis. Lagos is the center of internal solution to the problem of Nigeria, "Fashola said.


According to him, "Lagos State Government is ready and think ahead, because wherever there is a crisis, there is a possibility. Lagos is the center of internal solution to the problem of Nigeria.


"The crisis today Egypt is an economic opportunity for Nigeria. Let us do the right thing: the politics of right attitude. Let us work together to Lagos in Nigeria and especially great state."
